In Hospitality it is often the case that someone is great at delivering an exceptional guest experience and then next minute they are thrown a set of keys and are suddenly thrust into a role where they are responsible for leading a team. Coaching is particularly valuable for those that are new to a leadership role or those transitioning to either middle management or to more senior leadership roles.
Change brings with it new challenges and demands, and often new leaders don’t know what they don’t know. Supporting them through this transition is critical to developing strong, capable and effective leaders.
I work individually with leaders to take on their new role with confidence by identifying and tapping into their strengths, creating strategies to fill development gaps, improve communication and relationship skills with their teams and hone their decision-making capabilities.
